First Day Of Preschool!!!! Teddy

Last year Teddy was a bit nervous. Not this year, he is excited to be in the big kid classroom!! I suppose it helps that I will be working in the other classroom. :)

These 3 are so sweet!! I just love them.

First Day Of Preschool!!! Bridgette

Just like Samantha, Bridgette is excited to be in Kinderstart. This is the big kid classroom. Next year Kindergarten bound!!

I hope these 3 always stay so close. :)

First Day Of Preschool!!! Samantha

Samantha is very happy for preschool this year. She is excited to be in Kinderstart, that means she goes to Kindergarten next year!!!

These 3 just love each other and are the best of friends.

First Day Of First Grade!! Olivia

OK so every year I am in disbelief that my kids are actually older and time is flying by so fast. How did Olivia get to be a first grader. She will turn 7 in less than 2 weeks.

This year I am working at the preschool so the bus is picking the kids up there.

Alexis and Olivia Strike a pose.

Olivia is getting a bit hot and wants to show off her top in a picture.

Isn't the top cute??

We are actually waiting for the bus on a busy road, rather than our dirt road, which does not see much traffic.

But I got my first day of school bus picture!!

1 more please??

Olivia is taking a half day Spanish immersion class at school, so half of her day the teacher only speaks Spanish. So when she cam home from school she said. "Mom none of us understand the Spanish teacher, we don't know what she is saying, we don't know what we are suppose to be doing and we aren't learning anything!!"

Got to love that kid.

Thanks for checking in on us!!

First Day Of Fourth Grade!! Alexis

Is it that time again?? I have a fourth grader?? What happened to my tiny baby? Will she really turn double digits in January??

The background is not my usual first day of school background. I am working at the trios preschool and so you see our church in the background, which is where the preschool is. My girls are catching the bus from there.

Striking a pose waiting for the bus.

Being patient.

Getting on the bus at a new location with a new bus driver.

Quick glance at Mom for my first day of school picture.

First Day Of School!

Well it's that time again. The first day of school. The back packs are ready to go.

This year is a little different as I am working at the trios preschool. And I open so everyone has to get up extra early and come with me to school. I have to be there by 7AM. Alexis and Olivia will catch the bus from the preschool.

Wish me luck!!

Sometimes all it takes to make someones day

I am amazed just one small comment really made my day.

The kids and I went up north to spend time with my older brother and his family, at my Dad's cabin. We were going to take the 3.5 hour drive back home that night, but since I only see my brother once a year and we were having such fun, we decided to visit later and stay in a local hotel.

The next morning I awoke my usually late sleepers at 5:30AM to get ready so we could be the first people to enjoy the continental breakfast. The kids sat and ate nicely. My whispers to talk in a quiet voice were answered. And when we were done all things were cleaned up. We headed back to the room and I loaded our car up. Then we went to the front desk, I asked the kids to sit and wait for me on the couch while I checked out. Looking over my shoulder hoping they did not start running, fighting or screaming. (I was tired and not in the mood for the usual rolled eyes, stares and comments I get about my children.) As I was checking out it happened the clerk said "You have such well behaved children." As I said thank-you I caught myself thinking is he really talking to me about my crew, I looked over my shoulder the kids still sitting nicely. I told them time to go and in a nice orderly fashion they walked to the car. Smile still on my face, yep that was a good day, and I am still smiling a day later.

Minnesota Zoo

We love going to the Zoo. In fact we love it so much that we bought a membership last July and it expires at the end of this month. We have used it so much over the last year and love the savings we get from having a membership.

They love to see the butterfly garden.

The special part of this trip were the Giraffes. The kids got to feed them, well all of the kids except Samantha she was afraid to feed them.

Aren't they so cute?

Alexis went first and fed the giraffes.

Now Olivia, she was a little unsure.

Then Teddy.

And finally Bridgette.

One of the kids favorite things to do is to go to the farm at the zoo. It is a petting farm and the kids LOVE feeding and petting the animals.

Well we had a fun filled day and Bridgette's God Parents came with, We love you Helen and Jon!!

Thanks for visiting!
