On September 5, 2008 I gave birth to 4 beautiful babies Samantha, Bridgette, Theodore "Teddy" and Madeline. Nine days later on September 14, 2008 Madeline was called to Heaven. So begins my journey of raising my Quadruplets as Triplets. They will always be my Quads!!

Just some random cute pictures

Just too cute!! :)

Bridgette look at you!!!

Look at little Miss Bridgette. Bridgette is the only one that constantly crawls in the "traditional" style and the only one that can sit straight up from crawling and then go back to a crawl. Way to go Bridgette!!!

NICU Follow Up Clinic Today!!!

The babies had their first NICU follow up clinic. They test them to see where they are with their abilities. The hope is that they will eventually catch up to their actual age. They will do this study a few times over the next 4 1/2 years the next test will be at thier "Adjusted"age of 12 months (December actual age will be 15 months). So here are the results in birth order of course!!

Remember they are actually 9.5 months old they are expected to do things a 6.5 month old does.
Samantha

Samantha: Cognitive - Age Equvilance 8 Months
 Motor - Gross - 7 months
 Motor - Fine - 10 months
 Language - Expressive - 7 months
 Language - Receptive - 6 months
Bridgette

Bridgette: Cognitive - Age Equvilance 9 Months
 Motor - Gross - 8 months
 Motor - Fine - 7 months

Bridgette normally chats alot and just would not talk during the test so she would have been higher on the language if she would have talked.
Teddy

Needless to say they did amazingly well. As you can see some things they already hit and surpassed thier actual age!! Way to go babies!!!

We went to visit the NICU nurses, my nurses that took care of me and to say hi to one of the doctors that delivered the babies. I am so thankful for each and everyone of them. I have 3 beautiful babies thanks to all of the care they gave us!! THANK-YOU!!!

On a side not I forgot to mention what Olivia had to say at Grammy Jan & Papa Buds house. She was playing with a doll that they had and named it Maddie (The girls name many dolls Maddie). Papa Bud said "Is this Maddie??" Olivia said "Yes I got her from Heaven".

And in case I forgot when the babies came home from the hospital 7 months ago Alexis said "When I grow up and have a baby I am going to name her Madeline Jean and give her to you".

Life is truly good

If you thought it wasn't crazy enough

For those of you who already did not think it could get crazier over here it has. Well Samantha and Teddy are doing the Army Crawl and Bridgette has her own style of crawl, not fast moving but they are getting there, we are not to the traditional crawl yet, but only a matter of time.

Well these slow moving babies, which frankly looks like when the people are walking toward you in the movie "Night Of The Living Dead", I mean they move that slow. Well just like in the for mentioned movie they get you, even though they are slow, they get you. Changing a "dirty" diaper with a wiggling flipping baby is hard enough, but imagine trying to get that clean diaper on while a 2 and 5 year old run crazily through the house screaming and the 2 other babies decide this "dirty" diaper is way more interesting than Mommy's Magazine (since they already ate that), so frantically I yell at the big girls, stop putting the clean diaper on wiggly baby, to clean up 2 dirty babies and look to only find that yes indeed naked baby had more.

I am not looking forward to that fast moving crawl. I picture a bunch of hungry Lions ready to attack.

See those cute "innocent" faces, they are in attack mode. :)
