On September 5, 2008 I gave birth to 4 beautiful babies Samantha, Bridgette, Theodore "Teddy" and Madeline. Nine days later on September 14, 2008 Madeline was called to Heaven. So begins my journey of raising my Quadruplets as Triplets. They will always be my Quads!!

Hot Lava!!!!

Okay so there's not really any hot lava but we did make a volcano!! For those that don't already know I am considering homeschooling Alexis next year and I am testing out if it work by doing a science curriculum at home. And, well, we are enjoying it so much. I ordered the Kindergarten science curriculum from Sonlight, I am already doing the preschool (P3/4) with Olivia and we are enjoying that literature. And our public school does not do anything for science in Kindergarten so it works out to do science at home so she gets some. :)

So here is Alexis holding her list she made up of what we need to make the volcano!! And a book, it was one we had already. We read from the Usborne Children's Encyclpedia about volcanoes (part of the curriculum), and bonus we already had this book for more in depth reading!!

Wow here she is with the homemade volcano!! We were pretty excited, can you tell that she is!!

For some reason I can not get my video to upload but I do have it on You Tube so here is the link: http://www.youtube.com/user/QBRATS?feature=mhw4#p/a/u/0/6Ksa5_Sc6qc .
The building and anticipation were alot better than our first attempt, but we lost the funnel and Dad made a make shift one from newspaper. But all night Alexis talked about building another one outside as big as the house, so we will do this experiment again. :)
Thanks for checking in on us.
