Second Grader?? Already?? Oh My!! Well Alexis was very excited to go to second grade today. She threw an outfit together this motrning. I LOVE her style. Reminds me of 80s punk rock. :)

Just wanted to let you know that I just got done reading your blog from beginning to end. I have laughed, cried, and enjoyed myself reading it. I have 6 mth old twins and find your blog an inspiration. Please continue to entertain us with your frequent stories. All 6 kids are adorable!
Our sweet Madeline Jean, had 8 very good days in the NICU. By day 3 Maddie had moved to high flow nasal cannulas for breathing, she was taking feeds and as spunky as ever. On day 8 she became ill, her stomac became enlarged, she was critcal, on day 9 the Doctors took a look inside and found all of her intestines and half of her stomac had died. We had her baptised and held her, as soon as she was in my arms skin to skin with me, we removed her breathing assistance and let her go very quickly and peacefully. We would later find that the cause of her death was NEC (Necrotizing Entrocolitis). We feel blessed to have had her for 9 days.
I am lucky to be a stay at home mom to a 6 year old a 4 year old and three 2 year olds, who are surviving quadruplets. Which means I am proud to be a Mom to a little Angel in Heaven, our sweet Madeline. I LOVE being a mom enjoy taking pictures, I have lots of subjects at home. Life gets pretty crazy and I love every minute of it.
